Teleprompter solution that helps you get started in a matter of minutes
Right off the bat, Power Prompter greets you with its editing window where you will be able to quickly input the text you want to be scrolled down your screen. You get to preview the result almost instantly and adjust the overall appearance via the Script, Overlay, and Screens panels.
The Power Prompter is project based, which means that you get to save your current script and configuration using a proprietary file format (.ppr). As a result, you can use the same text on multiple sessions without wasting any time.
As soon as you press the “Start Prompting” button, Power Prompter launches a new viewer window where you can easily see the text scrolling down. Note that you can also make the text go back up, pause the playback, flip the text vertically or horizontally, change the text alignment, or adjust the scrolling speed.
Modify the script and overlay appearance and specify the output screen
In the Power Prompter Script panel, you get to set the default text alignment, the background and text color, and the font size and style. You can also use a custom image for the background, flip the text, or adjust the prompter’s margin.
The Overlay panel enables you to change the indicator type, size, and color. If you opt to use an overlay type (fade in or highlight), you get to adjust its opacity level and position on the screen.
Last but not least, Power Prompter will detect all the displays connected to your computer, and you have the option to specify the one you want to use. Keep in mind that you can also open a free teleprompter window that can be easily moved around.
